"We had a lovely meal here in October. We had a table on the terrace which was sheltered from the wind. The catch of the day was sea bass which 2 had, 2 of us had Got Thai sticky beef which was very nice. A kick but not too much. The lamb shank was a generous potion but unfortunately one was cold and had to be sent back Generous puddings, we had lime cheesecake, creme brulee and apple crumble. Went down very well Recommend for a great atmosphere, view and food"

"Great place we attended a wedding here & it was so beautiful, with amazing views the most romantic setting & everything was just perfect . Kirsten was the planner & she was so lovely introducing herself to the guests and there on hand all day if anyone needed anything she was so friendly as were all the staff our lovely waiter looked after us all day & was also very polite & friendly. The food was buffet style but there were so many options to cater for everyone there & kids too with a huge selection of deserts too . We were back a second time for bbq & this time it was held in the big pool area which was also so lovely with umbrellas for shade or loungers to sit out . Great atmosphere, music & again friendly polite staff . Couldn’t fault a thing only we had to leave early to catch a flight home :-( . Thanks Kirsten & staff @ lighthouse grill & bar!"

"We visited the Lighthouse on a Saturday evening for a meal for two and some drinks. I don’t usually write reviews but the evening went above and beyond what we expected and really topped off the week. We had paella for two, it looked and tasted great, the best I’ve had in a long time. For dessert we had the creme brûlée, again was amazing. Drinks, plenty of options and served quick, as and when you wanted them. Service was second to none from start to finish, anything you needed and good craic too. The venue I’m sure can be seen from other photos/reviews we looked at before going and is fantastic. Also the views were great and relaxed for viewing of the sunset. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted, it was chilled with some live music (saxophone) that really topped it all off. Thank you for having us we will be sure to return if we’re ever back in the area in the future!"

"We absolutely loved The Lighthouse, it's hands down the best place we ate at during our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were given such a warm and friendly welcome, and the team made us feel completely at home. The food was immense, every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully cooked. There’s something for everyone on the menu: meat lovers, fish fans, vegetarians, vegans, and kids are all well catered for. It’s so nice to find a place that does it all so well! The cocktails were incredible (definitely try one at sunset) and the views are just stunning. It's the perfect backdrop for a relaxed or romantic evening. Honestly, we couldn’t recommend it enough — fantastic food, lovely people, amazing views, and great vibes all around. A real Carvoeiro gem!"

"What a wonderful find! We were greeted straight away by super friendly staff, and led to our table on a beautiful terrace that had the most incredible view. We had a set menu as part of the HPB organised evening and I had the duck starter followed by the beef stew. Both were stunning! It was so good we went back the night after for dinner again! The menu was fresh and varied, and it was hard to choose from the array of tempting dishes. I had the Sirloin steak and my husband had the Portuguese steak. It was one of the best steaks we have ever had! We will definitely be back!"

"We came here after our visit to Marinha Beach and so glad we chose this restaurant! It had a beautiful view plus, we were the only ones there at the time as it was a little early. We chose our table with the best view! The service was impeccable and our server Amy was fabulous! She took the time to chat with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend coming here for sure!"

"Had the most amazing Easter brunch yesterday! The food was ahhhmazing! Service was excellent! Everything was set up so perfectly for the kids to have a super fun Easter hunt. Everyone was so friendly. Love that they have a an area outside for the kids to play that’s fenced in so they can play and have fun and not worry about them."

"The Lighthouse Grill & Bar presents as a luxurious and inviting setting, with beautiful design, cosy atmosphere and a promising first impression. The view is indeed nice. However, the reservation system is basic and the dining experience felt merely average in places, without delivering the “wow” to match the ambiance. At times, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, which impacted the overall flow of service."
